LESSON TOPIC: Basketball
EXAMPLE STUDENT RESPONSES:
· “It was fun because we were allowed to play basketball the whole lesson!” – (Highly skilled student)
· “The teacher kept stopping play and asking us questions during the game which was really frustrating” – (Highly skilled student)
· “We adjusted the rules so that the boys had to pass the ball to one of the girls before scoring. It was better this way because we had more involvement in the game than usual” – (Female participant)

OVERVIEW OF STUDENT RESPONSES:
Based on student responses there was a mix of positive and negative comments regarding the TGfU approach, however, the majority of students were satisfied with the approach.

· “I already know how to pass, so I got bored doing the drills” – (Highly skilled student)
OVERVIEW OF STUDENT RESPONSES:
As highlighted within the above comments, an overwhelming percentage of students felt the traditional model failed to meet their needs as participants.
